Abstract
One of the important philosophical topics is the knowledge of God, which is considered the highest knowledge. From Mulla Sadra's perspective, the knowledge of the existence of the necessary is an innate thing; because in hardships, man, according to his nature, understands the cause of causes and the facilitator of difficult matters, even if he is not interested in it. From the perspective of Allama Tabataba'i, theology is innate to man, and man, with his God-given nature, proves a God for the world of creation who is far from all defects, and the knowledge of Him requires that he does not see himself as independent in the action issued by himself and considers himself based on Him.
In this research, an attempt has been made to conduct a comparative evaluation of theology of nature from the perspective of two prominent philosophers, Mulla Sadra and Allama Tabataba'i, using a descriptive-analytical method. What Mulla Sadra states in theology of nature has a kind of similarity and affinity with Allama's discussion, and of course, some differences can also be perceived.
The findings of the research indicate that both thinkers, by accepting principles such as the originality of existence, the existential poverty of possibilities, and the exact relation of the effect to the cause, have a consistent approach to the innateness of theology and also consider the end of creation to be man's attainment of divine proximity. However, there are differences in the way this issue is explained.
