Of these, Irenaeus and Tertullian –of first church fathers-both regard the human authority as a necessity in the human creation for his achievement of the perfection. But the human doesn’t use his authority correctly and cause his sin. Although Irenaeus attends to the inhibitor concept of sin, sometimes believes in its positive function and regards it as a means of the human experience and the distinction of good and evil. But unlike Irenaeus, Tertullian haven’t believed in this metamorphic concept of sin, and believes that the sin leads to death and the fall of human, like Adam and Even Fall rejected from heaven. unlike Tertullian, Irenaeus  regards Adam and Even sin due to their disability in beginning of the creation and interprets their Fall as driving of their arrival to world for being likeness of God, and no obstacle of the perfection path. However, in Irenaeus and Tertullian soteriology, the human authority isn’t enough, but  the presence of Father, Son and Spirit is necessary in the salvation and perfection process.  <br />  <span style="font-family: 'B Lotus'; font-size: 13pt; mso-ansi-font-size: 11.0pt;" lang="AR-SA">بحث اختیار انسان و سوء استفادة وی از اختیار، یا گناه، یکی از آموزه‌های اصلی کتاب مقدس و همچنین اندیشمندان مسیحی بوده است. از این میان، ایرنائوس و ترتولیان- از نخستین آبای کلیسا- هر دو اختیار انسان را به منزلة ضرورتی در آفرینش آدمی برای به کمال رسیدنش می‌دانند، اما انسان همواره اختیار خود را به درستی به کار نمی‌برد و چه بسا موجبات گناه خود را فراهم آورد. ایرنائوس هرچند به مفهوم بازدارندة گناه در راه کمال توجه دارد، گاه برای آن کارکرد مثبت نیز قائل است و آن را وسیلة تجربة آدمی و تشخیص سره از ناسره می‌داند، اما بر خلاف ایرنائوس، ترتولیان به این دگردیسی‌ مفهوم گناه قائل نبوده، گناه را همانا منتهی به مرگ و هبوط می‌داند، چنان‌که آدم و حوا هبوط کردند و از بهشت رانده شدند. برخلاف ترتولیان، ایرنائوس در اینجا نیز گناه آدم و حوا را ناشی از ناتوانی ایشان در آغاز آفرینش می‌داند و هبوط ایشان را محرکی برای ورود ایشان به این جهان برای به شباهت ‌رسیدن با خداوند تفسیر می‌نماید، نه مانعی بر سر راه کمال. البته، در نجات‌شناسی ایرنائوس و ترتولیان تنها اختیار آدمی شرط کافی نیست، بلکه حضور پدر، پسر و روح القدس را نیز در فرآیند نجات و کمال انسان می‌طلبد.</span> https://coth.ui.ac.ir/article_15674_21e3045368f6e24794c862d830832604.pdf
